Dr Jarrad Van Zuydam
Dr Jarrad Van Zuydam graduated with a MBBCh from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2006. He completed his diploma in anaesthesia in 2009 and spent some time practising anaesthesia in both the public and private health sectors.
His passion for sport led him to enrol for the MSC in sports medicine at the University of Pretoria in 2011. Since then he has worked with various sports teams at university and provincial level. Being a competitive cyclist himself, Jarrad has a special interest in cycling medicine. He is a CSA level 1 cycling coach and has been a doctor for the MTN Qhubeka Pro-Continental cycling team since December 2012, traveling with them on their international tours.
He consults as a sports physician at the Waterfall Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre, Waterfall Estate, Johannesburg.
